Constructed of Solid Birch and Basswood

     From the beginning our goal was to design and develop a product that was different from anything else on the market.  We wanted it to be strong, functional and easy to use.  Once you see this product we think you will agree that we have surpassed all of these goals.  Assembly takes only about ten minutes.  The design allows for a large range of adjustment for working with various sizes of skeins up to 73".  The upright rods can be moved into five different positions and as the main body of the unit travels down the threaded rod, the extender arms move outwards.  As the extender arms travel outwards, tension is placed evenly on the skein.  The wooden nut on the threaded rod is used to tighten the main body down and hold it in place.  There is a steel ball bearing located both under the extender arms and in the main body under the wooden nut, allowing the arms to turn smoothly and freely.  The base has anti-slide, non-marking pads so the unit can be placed on a table top or hardwood floor without worry of it moving or leaving surface marks.

     These units are handcrafted of solid Birch and Basswood.  Each swift is packaged in it's own fabric drawstring bag.  They can be easily taken apart and stored in the bag when not in use.  As with all of our products, this item is guaranteed against defects in both workmanship and material.
